Unique Kelloggs Raisin Bran Sample/Protoype Box

NOTE: MUST BE ORDERED SEPARATELY FROM OTHER ITEMS DUE TO THEIR SIZE AND SHIPPING REQUIREMENTS.

Rare opportunity to purchase a sample/prototype Raisin Bran cereal box.  These boxes never contained food product.  They are very different than the retail version of the cereal boxes.

A small quantity of boxes were given to Mr. Shatner after Kelloggs decided to do a unique version of their Raisin Bran cereal to tie into their well known Superbowl Commercial.

These special boxes have very distinct differences to their retail counterparts.  

Size of box - the prototype boxes are based on the regular 16.1oz Raisin Bran Cereal box while the retail special edition box is 20.9oz so the prototype box is 2" smaller.

The prototype box also does not have the nutritional icons nor the volume/weight measurements of the retail where the volume/weight information would be needed to sell these boxes in a retail setting.

The placement and information found on the URL and the barcode is different on the prototype box.

Also the background design elements are different with the electrical charge graphics more pronounced on the prototype boxes.

The boxes can be assembled using glue strips on the tops and bottom flaps (see images.) So they can be stored flat or you can purchase a cereal box display to display your special box proudly.

On the interior of each box is a "Kellogg's Prototype" stamp to further show it's uniqueness. It appears to be applied by hand so some of the stamps are quite bold while others are less bold/complete and others have multiple stamps.  (We are just going to box them all up to prevent any damage from occurring to the boxes and randomly draw one each per the number of boxes ordered so please do not ask us for a selection to choose from.)

The boxes are in Polyethylene archival bags and affixed with Mr. Shatner's Archive Sticker showing where it came from and are shipped in a stay flat mailer to prevent damage during shipping.
