Nature of Collectibles
Please understand that by purchasing items from the William Shatner Store you agree that there are no warranties that the item is working or will withstand any kind of use. Many of our items were manufactured many years ago and may have shelf ware and may not be up to product safety standards of today. We sell these collectibles to be displayed as part of your collection and offer no warranties. Please ask questions before purchasing: products@WilliamShatner.com.
Refund and Returns Policy
Due to the nature of the one of kind products and original products some nearly 50 years old sold in our store, The William Shatner Store does not offer refunds. Please make sure you ask all questions before purchasing items from this store. In the rare circumstance that we authorize a return the buyer will be responsible for returning products at their cost. Returns must be to and received by us within 7 days of the original delivery date of the product to you. The product must also be returned in unused, undamaged condition in its original packaging and in the same condition as it was sent to you. The customer MUST inform The William Shatner Store of any defective product within three (3) days of receipt. In the case of shipping damage all packaging materials must be kept for inspection. We cannot accept returns on opened packages that were sent sealed.
In the you need to return an item, please Contact Us with your order number and details about the product and why you need to to return it. We will make a decision and respond to you with instructions for how to return items from your order if we decide the product needs to be returned.
Additionally we do not offer returns or refunds on items purchased such as DVD's or BluRay discs that may not be compatible with formatting or your playing device in your country.
VAT and Sales Tax
We are required to collect sales tax on any products shipping to California in the United States as well as collect VAT for shipments traveling to the United Kingdom and other countries. We use outside companies who report those taxes to the government jurisdiction. Please do not ask us to not to charge you tax. We are obligated by law
Shipping
Due to our partnerships we can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, please read the descriptions of products as some products such as DVDs and Blurays may be formatted for another region and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations. We will inform you if there is a problem sending a product you ordered to your destination.
When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page. Certain countries may have different shipping options. Shipping to the United Kingdom is by DHL Express only. We cannot offer any other shipping services to you. We understand that the shipping cost may be higher than it was previously but it is a compromise for being able to continue to sell to the UK.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
